Web Content and Data Coordinator

Intex Group are one of Australia’s leading promotional product and branding specialists - providing offshore factory direct products incorporating stringent QC & compliance standards to Australasia's premier companies via an extensive distributor network.

Located in Silverwater we are a growing company, currently with three busy websites within our portfolio of brands (www.orientcollection.com.au www.promostock.com.au www.ocapparel.com.au).

From branded pens & mugs through to custom POS and retail quality GWP items we source & supply a virtually unlimited range of concepts and options.

The primary objective of the role is to provide pivotal marketing eCommerce support, allowing our sales team to optimise and grow opportunities.

This role will suit someone with a passion for marketing who is tech savvy and keen to "grow" with our business rather than someone solely IT or tech focused.

We use a uniform platform across all sites, ensuring our extensive product range and service offering can be efficiently updated, managed and communicated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create new products & categories
  • Cross check pricing and stock levels
  • Uploading images
  • Seasonal & overall site updates
  • Regularly reviewing content
  • Tracking usage and sales
  • Resolving website problems
  • Increasing traffic, optimising keywords
  • Collecting customer reviews and surveys
  • Supporting the sales team with product ideas
  • Planning & contributing to future website development

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong work ethic with a passion and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using some form of eCommerce backend such as CS-Cart , Shopify, WordPress or Zen Cart
  • Google analytics, including reporting and analysing results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Passionate "customer first" focus
  • Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Graphics Suite experience (eg Adobe Illustrator) will be helpful but not necessary

Desirable:

You will have a sense of urgency and be comfortable with competing priorities and deadlines. You will also have strong, analytical and communication skills, be commercially astute and driven to deliver on targeted outcomes. Health & Safety and best ethical sourcing & sustainability practices will be important to you.
