Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Hillsdale, Sydney

Overview of Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated production supervisor to oversee our production operations and ensure that production targets, quality standards and safety protocols are consistently met. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of managing a team, optimising processes and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficient workflows and adherence of production schedules.
• Lead and supervise team of operators, promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• To identify any training needs or performance issues 
• To ensure training is provided to operators as and when required 
• To organize and distribute orders to the relevant workstations 

• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports including output, downtime, scrap and labour.
• Implement and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Address employee concerns and provide regular performance feedback.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in leading and supervising in a production environment
• A strong combination of technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and leadership qualities to ensure the efficient and safe functioning of the production processes under their supervision.
• Strong understanding of production equipment, workflow processes and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager
