The restart, recovery and rebound of the business events industry is in our hands.
Business Events Council of Australia (BECA) and Business Events Australia (a division of Tourism Australia) have launched two separate campaigns to encourage Australians to get vaccinated so we can get back to enjoying brilliant business events.
Both organisations are asking everyone linked to the business events industry to help spread the word by downloading a suite of resources (which features a range of ways for you to share the message, including social media assets, an email signature, a website sticker and more).
The events industry is one of the biggest sources of income for promotional product distributors who routinely delivered branded banners, merchandise and other promotional items to some of the biggest events in Australia and New Zealand.
With the national vaccine roll out gaining momentum, APPA supports the Business Events Council of Australia (BECA) and Business Events Australia call for the broader community to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as quickly as they can to support the first stage of the Government’s 4-step national plan.
Last month, National Cabinet agreed in principle to transition Australia’s National COVID-19 Response, providing a pathway forward for the country. Each phase of the plan is triggered by vaccination thresholds and aims to remove restrictions, end lockdowns and domestic border closures and recommence international travel – all of which are necessary for the business events industry to recover and prosper into the future.
